Recombinant Human IL-22/IL-TIF Protein, hFc
Interleukin- 22 (IL22, alias Zcyto18/IL- TIF) is a member of the IL- 10 superfamily. Produced by activated dendritic and T cells, it mediates innate immunity against bacteria mainly in respiratory and intestinal epithelia. IL22 signals via a membrane receptor complex (IL- 22R1/IL- 10R2), with its activity modulated by soluble IL- 22BP. Like IL- 10, IL22 supports survival of hepatocytes and epithelial cells
